Our client, a fast-growing start-up Media company, is looking looking for a PHP/Javascript Developer to build best-of-breed products that combine internally and externally build applications for a rich user experience on a large B2C and B2B web network.

Position Description: JavaScript Developer/Guru
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain web applications in PHP and Javascript.
• Utilize CSS and DHTML to create dynamic pages.
• Develop components with Prototype, jQuery and other scripting
frameworks
• Have a solid grasp of Object Oriented design.
• Integrate applications into various content management systems including
Drupal, OpenCMS and SiteMesh
• Integrate applications with client side technologies including AJAX, JSON.
• Fun, happy, energetic player with a fantastic team-oriented development
philosophy
• Comfortable gliding in and out of new technologies and embracing projects
that “reduce the number of lines of code”.
• Experience working in a small group of developers in a fast-paced
environment.
• Experience working with various open source applications and integrating
them into an enterprise framework.
• Experience Object oriented PHP5
• Experience with MySQL, Linux.
• 3-5 years of web application development in a B2C or B2B environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including analytical
capabilities, specification gathering/writing, and troubleshooting skills.
• Highly motivated, able to work both in a team and solo.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
• BS/MS in CS or related degree

• Previous start-up experience.
• Spring MVC / Hibernate.
• Experience with PostGres.
• Experience with Java.
• Experience with Content Management Systems.
• Experience with SiteMesh.
• Experience with e-commerce systems.
