Intechra - Meeting topic?

There was an article in the Advocate about an IT recycle place in Windsor CT. They tried to refurb/resell hardware and what can’t is recycled with green practices and not just overseas dumping. Anyone else think this might make a good presentation? Not exactly open source related but we all have lots of hardware to dispose of!

I like it! Maybe as a bonus, we could get them to haul away some of our stuff, so we don’t all have to drive to Windsor. ;)

I heard back, and someone is willing to come out to talk. Should I try for the September meeting? Seeing as how August is Picnic and we usually skip July since everyone is doing family summer vacation stuff!

September sounds good! I’m sure if we ply the person with plenty of food and drink, he or she would be happy to take our stuff off our hands.

I am aiming to have someone from Intechra at the September meeting. Its a little off topic form our usual discussions but I think its a good interesting subject and will be applicable to most of us.
