Don’t forget! SCOSUG’s annual picnic is this Saturday, August 25 at Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden from 1:00 pm until whenever.
If you’re planning on bringing something, here’s a list of what we have and what we still need:
Have – Burgers, hot dogs, buns, beverages, two cold salads (one bean, one TBD), gazpacho, baked beans, cake, paper plates, paper bowls, eating utensils
Need – Napkins, condiments, chips & dips
If you plan on bringing something PLEASE POST IT HERE by close of business on Friday so we know what we’re missing. Also… REMEMBER to bring any serving utensils your contribution may need (if any).
Thanks & see you on Saturday!!

To the best of my knowledge, Trish and I will be bringing gazpacho and baked beans. I’ll also grab some paper plates and bowls, as well as plastic utensils,

Dana has changed her mind a few times on exactly what shes making, but consider it some sort of cold side dish (At the moment its a spinach orzo salad thing that sounds pretty tasty)

Thanks everyone for coming yesterday. I think despite the early sprinkles then turning to way to humid, everyone had a great time. Thanks for eveything that was brought to the table, I know I was stuffed. I think the picnics get better every year! Sorry I missed the cake, hopefully someone sang a happy graduation song to our fearless leader and her new degree!

I know I had a great time. The food was excellent, and I know there were a few really interesting conversations going on.
I’ll get the pictures I took out to the group soon. I hope that Chris and Steve share theirs, too.
