Annual Summer BBQ!

We recently had our annual picnic at Sleeping Giant State Park.  Fun and food was had by all, and there were no incidents with the squirrels, even though we tried our best to give them a Mentos and Diet Coke shower (don't ask!).

MythTV:

There's been some talk about having a special meeting to build MythTVs.

SWAG:

We have some official boxed copies of YellowDog Linux to hand out at the next meeting.  If you're interested in running Linux on your Mac hardware and would like to try this distro out, just let someone know at the meetings, and we'll give you a boxed copy. 

In addition to all of the advantages you get from any Linux distro (security, stability, a great selection of open source software, etc.), YDL provides Mac-On-Linux - a technology which allows you to run Mac OS 9.x or OS X on top of Yellow Dog Linux at near-native speeds. 

Installfest!

There has not yet been a date set for our annual Installfest, but keep checking back to see when we are going to do it.
